Data We Collect
Account Data
Name, email address, username, password hash when you create a password, OAuth sign-in details when you choose Apple or Google, default currency, language preference, and account settings.
Trip Planning Data
Holiday Drafts, trips, destinations, dates, saved places, addresses, coordinates, notes, tags, itinerary timing, target budgets, estimated prices, custom expenses, travelers, and group planning details.
Flight And Document Data
Flight numbers, routes, status details, check-in reminder times, document titles, categories, booking links, uploaded travel files, file metadata, notes, privacy settings, and sharing settings.
Technical Data
Basic server logs, request metadata, error information, and security data needed to operate the API, protect accounts, debug issues, and keep the service reliable.
How We Use Data
- Create and manage your VayPath account.
- Save and display your trips, Holiday Drafts, places, maps, budgets, flights, documents, and group planning details.
- Sync your data between the mobile app and the VayPath API.
- Show shared trip content to travelers you add to a trip.
- Protect accounts, prevent abuse, troubleshoot bugs, and improve reliability.
- Respond to support, privacy, and account requests.
Sharing And Visibility
We do not sell your personal data, and VayPath does not use your data for third-party advertising or tracking.
- Trip members can see shared trip details, shared flights, shared documents, budget information, and group planning data for trips they belong to.
- Private documents and private check-in reminders are not shared with trip members unless you choose to share them.
- Service providers may process data only to run VayPath, such as hosting, authentication, file storage, flight lookup, and place search.
- We may disclose data if required by law, to protect users, or to enforce legal rights.
Third-Party Services
VayPath may use trusted providers for hosting, authentication, file handling, place search, destination images, maps, and flight lookup. These providers process data only as needed to provide app functionality, security, support, and reliability.
When you open external booking links or third-party websites from VayPath, their own privacy policies apply.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect your data, including authenticated API access and secure transport for data sent between the app and our servers. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect VayPath data against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, and alteration.
Data Retention
We keep your account and trip data while your account is active or while needed to provide VayPath. You can delete trips, documents, places, expenses, and other planning content inside the app where supported. You can also contact us to request account or data deletion.

VayPath is not directed to children. If you believe a child has provided personal data to VayPath, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to remove it.

We may update this policy as VayPath changes. When we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify users in the app or by another reasonable method.
